Now Entering the Service

Please welcome, Bob Jr., beginning his first tour of duty in Sam's crib! Here is BJ below with pioneer Bob, who will be placed in the inactive reserve on a shelf in my closet. BJ began by getting his wings wet with Sam's slobber this weekend. Welcome BJ!

Also, Sam explores the deck out back and gives only polite applause for the evening meal.

I've transferred all of our cell phone pics to the computer and found some real cuties! Here they are in no particular order - the last one is Sam's first recorded smile!

Healthy Samster

Still nursing a cold and cough, Sam received a clean bill of health from the doc and four sticks in the leg! She weighed in at a robust 26 lb, 3 oz and a Manute Bol-esque 32 inches. Both measurement are over the 97% curve cap, and at this rate she will be the tallest, heaviest, and biggest headed person on the planet by age 18. We celebrated her bravery with a triple latte, apple juice, and Rice Krispy treat from $tarbucks.

Sammy celebrated with some Peeps and by skipping church due to illness. Sammy is 0-for-2 in Easter service attendance.

In my haste to get Sam on to her nap, I neglected to obtain a release to publish photos of Sam's friend Reese. Suffice it to say the two of them together are something of a poor(er) man's Shiloh and Suri. Swap the couture for outlet bargain bin separates, and you have Sammy and Reese.

So here is a short vid of Sam. We are going out of town this weekend, so I didn't want to leave without a quick update.

My goal is to get Sammy kissing on camera in the next few days. She mostly just kisses any reflective surface, but she has given three (3) unsolicited kisses to date to actual people (Jeff and I, her parents, though we will likely be downgraded to ogres in the coming years).

We also have our third and final photo shoot with Rachael this week. I'll post the pictures when they become available.
