Lite Brite

We took Sammy to Bellingrath Gardens for a little something to do on a Friday night. It was fine, and I suppose there are worse ways to spend the evening, but outside of a few excited WHOA!'s from the Samster it was pretty boring.

Sam worked her first deal this morning after gymnastics and playtime.

Sam (handing over diaper bag): O-pen!
Me: Are you thirsty? Do you want your juice?
Sam: No.
Me: Are you hungry? Do you want a snack?
Sam (shoving bag in my face): O-pen!

Me: Oh, that's wonderful, great job Sammy!
Sam: Pop.

Head Banger

When I told Sam the Irish were idle this week, she threw herself from the first step of the stair case. The fall resulted immediately in her first goose-egg, covering her entire forehead, seemingly poised to disrupt the schedule of tides with its gravitational pull. As you can see, it's gotten much better. ☺ (Thank you, Kathy, for calming my rookie nerves).


In other disturbing news, Bubs seems to think her belly is her best physical attribute.

Gym Class Hero

Sammy continues her meteoric rise in gymnastics... this week she conquered the rings and the obstacle course!

I'll be surgery-ing tomorrow, so don't expect any updates or a lot of content in the next week or so. Enjoy the bye week!

Weekend Pics!

Bubs had a lovely visit from her GPs this weekend, and was also able to meet Smokey the Bear and Sparky the Fire Dog.

On a different note, in the past month or so I have had three you-tubed videos now blocked for copyright infringement because of the songs I use in the background. I don't know if they're cracking down or what, but the hammer is swinging swiftly and I don't want to lose posting privileges. I'll be laying low for a while on the soundtracks.
